It is exciting to see all the images of the solar eclipse that happened in the USA overnight. Some people talked about the fact that it was a hugely spiritual moment. It made others realise how insignificant they are in the scheme of things, when they saw the moon cover the sun and the light and warmth disappeared.
Have you ever seen a solar eclipse? I don’t think I ever have, or not one that I remember. This seemed like it was a movement. I had a friend who travelled to the US from Australia to see the eclipse. And it sounded like it was a really powerful experience.
Sunshine for the soul
I was actually thinking about the beauty of the sun this morning, when I went for a walk in the sunshine to do some work in a cafe. It is so great to feel like I have recovered from my vitamin D deficiency. I consumed a whole bottle of the Bioceuticals vitamin D forte, and I must say that I feel so much better.
I am waking earlier, and I feel less dishevelled if I have to wake up early for some particular reason. This makes me think that it was a vitamin D deficiency that was causing my previous fatigue. It seems to be a lot better now.
Melbourne has also had a beautiful winter and I have got out into the sunshine on many days. I do think that it is a good idea to keep on top of a vitamin D deficiency, because it can have serious impacts on your life.
The beautiful, powerful sun
Some of us have been worshipping the sun overnight, and I am humbled by the strength, size and beauty of that beautiful body of fire.
